How to Turn Any Dress Into a Summer Dress

A lot of dress designs can be easily transformed into a summer dress with a little nip here, a little tuck there. One quick way to dress cooler is to cut the sleeves. Use tape to bind the bottom around the armhole openings. Or cut the sleeves short sleeves, and then the bottom. You can also divide the short sleeve and bottom of each side, give the nice flowing look on his sleeve. Long skirts can be cut off above the knee and locked for the cooler clothes. Try a variety of hemlines, to make each dress unique. The dress below the knee, can be cut on one side shorter than the others. Beginning just above the hem on one side and cut at an angle to reach much higher on the opposite side of the stain. This type is especially great for fitted skirt. Writing a skirt to look ragged points cut in the hem. Begins the side seams and cut up, then down, then up again, then down the whole way around. It's tattered look is fabulous on the full skirt.

To cool the back of the dress, cut a large circle or oval shape out of it. If a dress zipper in the back, the project will not work. For dresses that do not have zippers in the back, use the template cup from the cupboard, or any other shape that would make a good template. Draw around it and cut a shape from the back of the dress. Nisa around the figure, and you'll have a nice summer dress like no other.

A knit dress is instantly cooler when you cut off your shoulders and arms out. Although this design will not work for clothing, zippers or buttons anywhere on or back area, it is ideally suited for pullovers. Lay the dress out flat and cut right in front of just under one underarm seam to just below the opposite. hem. Pour quarter inch elastic to hold dress in place. Decorated with the top edge with ribbon, lace, or leave plain. After sewing, you can then add the notion of the bodice, as buttons or tiny Luke.

Take Shaft skirt and turn it into a summer dress, adding a stretchy tube top bodice. A measure of the underarm area of your waist to determine the length of the upper tube. Measure around the bust and add inches to the width of the top. Nisa upper edge of a piece of cloth, and then pin it to the skirt, the alignment of the Parties and the center front / center back. Shove shirt at the waist and the skirt. Wear a wide belt or tie a scarf around the waist.

The summer months call for cooler clothes, but you should not have your checkbook in hand to get the samples you like. View your wardrobe and select a few pieces, and then grab the scissors.
